Photography for the Extreme Enthusiast
Hello,
Thank you for enrolling in the photography workshop being hosted by Perivale Gallery. Time is the most important commodity we have and I am pleased that you have decided to spend some of your time with me.
In an effort to make this workshop as valuable as possible, I am reaching out to provide you with some important information, and to get some information in return. Let’s start with the latter. I have created a short online survey form that I would like you to fill out. It will assist me in getting to know you and help identify your wants and needs for this workshop.

Workshop Format
This workshop is designed for the photo enthusiast who is interested in bringing their images up to the next level. Participants should have a basic understanding of camera features, exposure and composition. However, we will be reviewing these concepts during the first day of the workshop and will practice using them through various hands-on activities.
There will be ample opportunity to provide and receive constructive feedback throughout the workshop, as this is an important way to learn and improve your work.
Although the workshop is rooted in the Spring Bay Community Hall we will be spending a fair amount of time outside of the facility, including driving to other locations. Please dress in comfortable clothing that will handle whatever Mother Nature throws at us. Pay particular attention to your footwear as we will spend time at the shoreline (I am bringing my water shoes) and doing some hiking (I will also have my hiking boots ready).
There is a full kitchen in the hall with stove, fridge and microwave. Since each session straddles either lunch or supper you will need to bring food to sustain you. A water bottle and extra snacks are also recommended.
